Eclipse's normal evolution comes with a high amount of Attack(32500) and a decent amount of HP(23774) which makes up for his lack of Speed(235.13). However, in his ascended form Eclipse gains increased stats Speed(243.9) while losing a bit of both HP(22920) and a decent amount of Attack(28374). Now, you may be wondering why the ascended form of Eclipse has lower stats when compared to his normal evolution; the answer to this is because his ascended form receives a second Bump Combo and gains a Gauge Shot. When Eclipse's Gauge Shot is used his Attack skyrockets to 34048, which is a large amount of attack. When the Gauge Shot is used in conjunction with his Strike Shot his damage can hit around 700,000. Eclipse also gains a secondary Bump Combo that gives Eclipse 4 homing missiles that attack at random.
Weaknesses about Eclipse are his speed which is fairly low and greatly reduces his damage which is a shame because of how high his Attack power is. Another thing that is to be considered a weakness is that farming for his ascension materials can be a pain because of the difficulty and low drop rates of the descends.
In short, Eclipse is a fairly good Power Type monster even though his speed is lacking. However, gaining a Gauge Shot and a secondary Bump Combo makes up for the lack of speed. Even though it's hard to farm for the ascension materials, it's well worth it if this is the type of monster you're looking to have on your team.
